The PI System Architecture, Planning, & Implementation class deals with the issues surrounding the implementation of a PI System. This class will concentrate on the server side of the PI System, and it will provide you with a working knowledge of the installation of both the Data Archive and AF Server. In this class each student will work to successfully install a High Availability PI System, from interface to visualization tools. You will spend valuable time discussing the components and their requirements so you can understand the best way the PI System will fit into your own Enterprise.
This course requires no previous knowledge of the PI System.
The class is four days long. Class starts at 8:30 a.m. (9:00 a.m. in Europe, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand) and ends at 4:30 p.m. Lunch breaks are at 12 p.m. each day and last 60 minutes. When making travel arrangement for the class, please plan to remain on site to the completion of the final exercise. This should be no later than 4:30 on the last day of the class. This class provides 26 classroom hours of instruction.
