About this course

Have you embarked on a new Digital Twin project and you feel lost in the weeds? This course will provide you best practices and hands-on exercises on how to get started with Asset Framework (AF) and Asset Analytics. The course will cover setting the scope and modelling accordingly, dealing with asset variations and tag naming conventions, integrating external data in AF, building well-configured AF analyses and propagating changes between separate environments (test-to-production or central-to-local systems). You will explore examples of well-configured and ill-configured AF databases, and get ready-to-use insight. The message of this course? Your data is as valuable as the context you build around it!

By the end of the course, you will be able to...

  • Determine the best way to embark on a new project with AF.
  • Discover performance issues in your PI Server through interacting with your data in PI Vision.
  • Validate the use of AF Templates to your skeptical colleagues.
  • Apply a few simple best practices to improve your PI Experience.
