Getting started with OSIsoft and the PI System
Become familiar with the initial steps in the OSIsoft customer journey
This module is the first part in a three-part series from the “Project Manager” learning path.
The main objective of this part is to assist you in becoming familiar with the initial steps in the OSIsoft customer journey and exploring the available training and support services. Although the focus of this module isn’t on the technical aspects of the PI System, we will provide you with an overview of the basic concepts of the OSIsoft data infrastructure. This should be enough foundational knowledge for you to successfully proceed with the other modules in this series and enable you to effectively communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders in your business.

- Have a better understanding of the object and breadth of OSIsoft’s operations.
- Be familiar with how customers obtain value from our products and services.
- Be able to describe how the PI System operates, what are its main components and what is the main suite of OSIsoft products.
