About this course

This module is the second part in a three-part series from the “Project Manager” learning path. This series of modules will give you the knowledge and insight you need to effectively manage a PI System implementation. I will guide you all the way from OSIsoft introductions, to planning, implementation and adoption.

In this second part of the series, we will start developing our PI System implementation plan by considering and recording important aspects of the process into the Gantt chart template provided. You will also gain a better understanding of using the customer portal to create and manage support cases, as well as begin thinking about the fundamental elements of you PI System Architecture (such as components, hardware, security).

  • have understood the importance of defining and pursuing specific success metrics
  • experience accessing the customer portal and managing support cases
